It appears that Jerrell Powe is headed to Ole Miss, after all. Despite rumors of flirtations with Miami and Alabama, Powe is going where he’s wanted to for two years. The 345-pound monster told Scout.com that he’d been admitted to school and was in his car on his way to the Oxford campus.
The Rebs still blow, but if he stays two years (which I don’t see how there’s ANY chance of that, but oh well) he could be a part of something bowl-worthy when Jevan Snead takes over the quarterback reins next year.

He still has not been cleared by the NCAA.
I know it. I’m just reporting that he likely isn’t going anywhere but Ole Miss. I mean, Scout was reporting. I was rehashing.
He hasn’t been cleared, but he still can practice with them for up to 14 days. So, we’ll see.
