At the time of the last update, I was getting ready to play Florida in the SEC title game. I was undefeated but still ranked 10th in the BCS with little hope of making the jump into the BCS Championship game. Well, after manhandling the Gators, I indeed jumped to #2 in the BCS (thank you, media poll) and had to play Virginia Tech.

The Hokies proved to be a worthy adversary. They took a 6-3 lead into halftime while almost completely shutting down my offense. I really got in the face of my troops during the break and they responded by taking the opening drive of the second half right down the field and into the endzone. And they wouldn’t relinquish the lead the rest of the way.

I followed that up with the #1 ranked recruiting class in all the land, and am now halfway through season 2, and ranked third in the country. Up next is 10th ranked Tennessee and Heisman hopeful/pothead Lamarcus Coker.
