TSiB Top 25

It’s a week late, but there haven’t been any games played, so does it really matter? Our voters have the same top two as the BCS, just in different order. If they used our rankings instead of the BCS, then Georgia would probably play Arizona State instead of Hawaii.

And someone a few weeks ago was bragging about picking West Virginia #1 in the preseason. Who was that? I’ll look at our preseason poll later to see how we did. Here’s the individual ballots

1.  LSU (4)    0.942
2.  Ohio State (3)    0.938
3.  Tie: Oklahoma, Georgia (2)     0.924
5.  USC     0.849
6.  Virginia Tech     0.809
7.  Missouri     0.760
8.  Kansas     0.698
9.  Florida     0.676
10. Arizona State     0.636
11. West Virginia     0.609
12. Illinois     0.511
13. Hawaii     0.507
14. Boston College     0.493
15. Clemson     0.422
16. Tennessee     0.382
17. Wisconsin     0.364
18. Cincinnati     0.324
19. Arkansas     0.267
20. Texas     0.253
21. Virginia     0.227
22. Auburn     0.160
23. BYU     0.089
24. Texas Tech     0.076
25. Mississippi State     0.053

Others receiving votes: Texas A&M, Boise State, South Florida

Trust me, your’s is not the only preseason poll that has some misses. We all had Michigan and Texas in the top 5.

Woooohoooo! Now, THERE’s a poll. This one is more significant than the Coaches and Harris combined.

    GEAUX TIGERS!
