Hey, she’s technically available and he’s technically available. If that’s what we have to do to get ESPN to give the SEC a little love, so be it. ;)
When Pearl was asked if he saw Prescilla Presley he replied, “No I didn’t see Prescilla at the game. I saw her on Sportscenter, but not there. I was so involved with Erin Andrews, I didn’t have time for Prescilla.”
Although that was a little creepy, what he was saying was correct. When asked why they were only down one, Pearl said that they were poised and don’t panic. That’s a mark of a good coach no matter what your true feelings are. Great win Vols in a classic game. I actually caught myself getting excited at the tip.
It was hard not to.
My initial thought on the Pearl “Erin grab” was, “Whoa, can he get away with that?” Then, I just laughed it off and thought, “Dude, that’s BRUCE FREAKIN’ PEARL. Erin is turned on…”
