It appears that Mark Richt is about to become a little richer. The higher-ups at UGA are supposedly meeting today to decide how much of a raise the head dawg will get. Richt, who seems like a great guy, is currently making $2.2 million a year, which is seventh highest in the SEC.
I personally would like to see Richt move on and take a better job somewhere else, I mean I hate to see him tied down at UGA…

This seems like an attempt by UGA to get him tied down before he does just that…
Props to UGA but now this means poor ole fat Phil will remain in the BOTTOM tier of SEC football coaches
