It wouldn’t surprise me either, CD. It blows my mind every year how combine results repeatedly trump on-field performance when the draft comes, and then the season gets here and all you hear is “So and so has a chip on his shoulder for falling in the draft and he’s certainly playing like a first rounder now.” No, he’s playing like he did in college before you stripped away all the things that are essentially important to football and made it more appealing to be a T & F star than a guy who can make or break a tackle.

BTW, Matt Caddell ran a sub 4.4 and had a 39″ vertical at Bama’s pro day. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was drafted ahead of DJ Hall.
