A few weeks ago, being the visionary that he is, Alabama coach Nick Saban made news by hitting the information superhighway to video-conference with recruits via webcams in order to get around the so-called ‘Saban rule’. Seeing that coaching is a copycat profession, many others, including Fulmer, have followed suit. So with all these coaches and their webcam videos flying all around the ether, we did what any well-respecting blogger would do. We got our hack on.
When recruiting over the web, the coaches put on the dogs for the VHTs on the other end, but we were able to catch the coaches, and their offices, in their more “natural” state. After the jump are some still shots of the coaches’ webcams we were able to find with our hacking expertise…

Say it ain’t so Nick. Brian Cook was right!?!?!

Just as I imagined it would be.

I guess Tubbs changed his mind about the whole webcam thing.

Dagnammit, I gotta work on my short game.

After being quite hesitant at first, Bowden seems to enjoy the freedom the new technology allows him.

I’m thinking Miles wouldn’t be a good choice as a Halo 2 teammate.*

Still haven’t unpacked yet, have we, Bobby?
OK, in our search for Urban Meyer’s webcam, we stumbled upon this beauty…

Which was almost as disturbing as this…

(Shudders)
We’ll keep you updated if we find anymore webcams…

LOL at the Little Debbie reference with Saban. It is the breakfast of champions.
@1, of course they are. They are produced in Collegedale TN. GBO
RTR. May as well scratch out the 6 and write a 7.
This was very entertaining. Somewhat out of character for you guys. This is Jai’s territory normally.
Nice to know that entertaining is out of character for us.
HIGH COMEDY!
I’m not sure what you meant by the comments, there, MoonDog. But anyway, I think this is one of the best things — if not THE best thing — that’s ever been on our site. I know CD spent hours and hours and hours and hours on this, and it was well worth the wait.
And as for that scary monster/panda thingy with Tebow, does this have anything to do with him circumcising Phillipino adolescent boys? Hmmm, let’s hope not.
Tuberredneck, Fat Phil, and Bobby Petrino’s are definitely the best.
Comment wise, Les Miles’ takes the cake.
Sabin is worthless. I pity any team who puts their trust in him.
I agree pohlse. I wouldn’t let Sabin near my team either, unless they had polio, of course.
Entertaining in the sense it was more like something you’d see at Losers With Socks than here. No slights intended.
Sabin or Petrino, not sure which is worse.
A Big Ten version would be easy, just show each coach getting steamrolled by an SEC logo.
What kills me is that coaches like Sabin, who have proven themselves incompetent and untrustworthy, are given more and more opportunities to screw over the players and teams that are counting on them.
pohlse,
Sarcasm doesn’t translate very well on the internet, so I don’t know if you’re misspelling his name on purpose or not, but just in case, it’s Saban. Not Sabin.
And if winning 2 SEC titles and a national title is incompetence, then give me a double helping, please.
And if he keeps getting these 17 & 18-year-olds to trust him enough to come to T-Town, then it’ll all be moot points, anyway.
Let’s ask the Dolphins if they’d like a second helping…
“Saban was referred to as a ‘liar,’ by ESPN’s Pat Forde and ’shameless’ by the Chicago Sun-Times. When asked whether Saban was ‘a raging fraud’, Hall of Fame coach Don Shula responded, ‘What other conclusion can you draw? The guy likes to hear himself talk and then doesn’t follow up on what he says.’”
My misspelling of his name was a mistake of speed, I apologize. I won’t apologize for believing this fraud should have been black-balled from football.
Yeah, Don didn’t have any ulterior motives. If was only his son that Nick was replacing, after all. He’s also old and must’ve forgotten how he left Baltimore in the middle of the night. The league even took away some of Miami’s draft picks because of it.
But Saban did handle the last few weeks in Miami horribly. No doubt about that.
Don Shula did worse to the Colts when he left them for Miami. Enough that the ‘Fins were penalized a first round draft choice. And Pat Forde is an inflammatory writer who also has stated that USC deserves the death penalty for signing OJ Mayo. The Dolphins thought enough of Saban to try and talk him out of it after his decision was made. Probably because Wayne Huizenga isn’t the kind of guy who makes character-assassinating judgments based on the opinions of Dan LeBatard and Pat Forde. Usually, I’m with you Pohlse–I like to take small fragments of information and blow them out of proportion simply to make someone else look bad. Just not this time.
