Regrettably Eric, the emptiness in my gut says you’re right. The spelling should’ve been an immediate red flag.

You slammed the state of the Vol nation dead center with this blog. I don’t care if they have to hire someone from the Patriots to work on signal sighting – The Vols need to win this game!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the first time I’ve been on your blog and I love it. I feel the same way about UT football and it hurts to see us like this. It’s hard to remember that football, ultimately, is a game.
Hearing you talk about your dad like that reminds me of the relationship I had with mine. We never went to games because we live a couple hundred miles apart and both of us hated dealing with the crowds. I would call after every t.d. and at the end of quarters to discuss the play of the team and maybe share what we would have done differently (he coached football for about 20 years).
I was pretty upset with the game on Saturday and I know he would have been too, but life goes on and tomorrow the sun will rise again.
Sorry to get off on the tangent about my pops, but it just reminded me of him.
Thanks for the great blog and I can’t wait to read more in the future.
