Thanks for checking out Third Saturday in Blogtober. Basically it’s gonna be a couple of Crimson Tiders blogging with a Volunteer fan or two from Tennessee. Heck, we might even throw in an UGA fan just for fun. So yes, this will be an SEC heavy blog, but we’re Renaissance men around here, so we’ll talk alot about what’s going on around all of college football.

We Renaissance men also like to follow point spreads, much like they did “back in the day”, however we prefer to use modern means. When you bet online you can get the latest odds on all the SEC contests. Be sure to visit. They may even let you in if you’re a Scarlet Knight….but I doubt it.

You wouldn’t believe how many people I’ve met who’ve wondered aloud what it would be like if fans of teams that hated each other had their own blog together. Well, hallelujah, their prayers have been answered.

What we are are (is,is?) college football fans to the core, and about the only thing that rivals our love for the sport (God and family excluded, of course) is our fervor to defend our respective teams to the end against any and all slights, real or perceived. We’ll also try to bust out some decent analysis along the way, and maybe we’ll bring out a few chuckles, too.

So with that said, bring on football season!

Thanks. So far, so good. We really enjoy it.

Yours isn’t so bad either…….for an Auburn fan.

Great!! Thanks, Amy. We hope you have fun reading some of the stuff and don’t get offended too often. We try to be balanced (for the most part) and not vulgar.

What a great idea! Bringing peace to the world in a new way. ;) And, how else would so many people with different loyalties find each other? Bravo! :)
